The Overview Map widget in the Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS application shows the extent of the world and not the specific location that is zoomed in when using a vector tile basemap in the RD New Projection.

Workaround

• Project the vector tile as the 'WGS 1984 Web Mercator (auxiliary sphere)' Coordinate system. The Overview Map widget works when using this projection for vector tiles.
• Create a raster tile layer instead of a vector tile layer. The Overview Map widget works when using the same data and layer in the RD New projection as a raster tile basemap.
• Hide the Overview Map widget to prevent the error messages from displaying in the Developer tools.
