The oriented imagery viewer fails and returns the error message, "Error occurred while loading the image. Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'spatialReference')" without the CameraHeading field in ArcGIS Online.

This is a known issue that will be fixed in the ArcGIS Online 2024 R03 release. The issue occurs because no valid value is available for CameraHeading. The fix populates the image but also provides an appropriate warning message in the oriented imagery viewer.Workaround
