The number format of numeric attributes is not honored in the ArcGIS Online Map Viewer pop-ups when the Source Feature Classes pop-ups are defined using HTML code in ArcGIS Pro.

This issue is no longer reproducible in-house. If the issue persists, contact Esri Technical Support as a new reproduction case is needed for continued investigation.Workaround
Use Expression Builder on the Configure Popups dialogue and instead of the field name, include the named expression in the HTML script, for example:
