The Network Traffic error “JSONObject[\"fromSR\"] not found.” is returned when viewing a hosted feature layer created from an existing feature layer (via Portal for ArcGIS) whose map WKID 32100-NAD 1983 StatePlane Montana FIPS 2500 (Meters) is the spatial reference.

Workaround

If distortions are not problematic using Web Mercator, the following should work for most mapping needs.

For the source Feature Layer being used in the workflow to publish a Hosted Feature Layer from an existing feature layer, publish the data with the Map's spatial reference set to WGS 1984 Web Mercator- WKID 102100 (3857).
