Workaround

Workaround 1:

  • Open the newly exported feature layer in ArcMap or ArcCatalog.
  • The Object Count and Feature Count are showing as expected in ArcMap/ArcCatalog.
  • Proceeded to close ArcMap/ArcCatalog.
  • Open ArcGIS Pro and View Metadata.
  • The Object and Feature Counts seem to be showing as expected.

Workaround 2:

  • You can use the synchronise metadata tool in ArcGIS Pro.
  • Open the catalog view.
  • If the details panel is not open, on the View tab on the ribbon, in the Options group, click the Details Panel button.
  • Browse to, and select the item in the Catalog view.
  • On the Catalog tab on the ribbon, in the Metadata group, click Synchronize.
  • The metadata content is synchronized. The metadata display is updated to show the item’s updated metadata content.
