The Merge tool completes successfully, but does not properly close the multipatch features generated from the Quick Import (Data Interoparability) tool.

Additional Information
This is a known limitation. The Merge tool does not perform any geometric operations such as closing or unioning adjacent or touching geometries. Refer to, https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/tool-reference/data-management/merge.htm for more information.Workaround
The Merge 3D editing tool closes the multipatch, however is inconvenient for large GML datasets.
