The link below provides the instructions, "Right-click a tool or toolbox you created, and click Item Description. This will open the Item Description window, displaying the Description page." which does not work in ArcCatalog. http://help.arcgis.com/en/arcgisdesktop/10.0/help/index.html#//001500000014000000.htm
