In order to use a grid layout for the survey form, the global style must be set in the 'settings' sheet. To have a different grid layouts (fixed-grid or dynamic-grid) for a specific group or repeat, enter the grid style in the 'body::esri:style' column to override the global grid layout.Workaround
Open the 'settings' sheet and enter the 'fixed-grid' in the 'style' column. This setting is applied to the whole survey form. To use the fixed-grid on some part of the survey, this is not appropriate.
