For the reproducible case provided in this specific issue, the results observed are expected. The software is working as designed when it does not return search results in this case. In this scenario, a search index will never be created, and therefore no results will ever be returned. Note that with the changes to how indexing options are defined in ArcGIS Pro 3.2, it is no longer possible to configure the indexing options in this confusing manner, i.e. to incrementally index every zero hours and to rebuild the index every zero days. Also, the status of indexing the content in enterprise database connections can be specifically checked to see if indexing has not started, is in progress, or when completed. In the current software, users can get the specific information needed to know if an index is created for the contents of database connections.
