Additional Information

This is a known limitation when using the native operating system keyboards across the various Android devices and operating systems. These keyboards are not controlled by the Field Maps application.

Workaround

  • Type in a decimal value into the comments section, copy and paste it into the double field.
  • Type in a value with the integer keyboard and submit it. When it displays a value (for example, 15.00), re-edit it to delete the zeroes, and add the desired decimal value.
  • Install and use the Google keyboard called GBoard - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.inputmethod.latin&hl=en_US&gl=US.
