Additional Information
For the Kernel Density tool output raster, the default rendering is set to Nearest Neighbor to ensure the actual, calculated cell values are displayed without any visual interpolation or smoothing. To change the rendering resampling method to Bilinear or Cubic, manually navigate to the Raster Layer contextual tab and select the preferred option from Resampling within the Rendering group.
Workaround
Manually change the resampling method on the Raster Layer contextual tab in the Rendering group.
