Additional Information
ArcGIS Desktop (including ArcGIS Engine and ArcObjects) is in mature support and will be retired on March 1, 2026. Mature support means the end of functionality-based patches and hotfixes. This issue will not be addressed as it occurs exclusively in services using the ArcMap service runtime, which is based on ArcObjects. It is recommended to migrate the services to the ArcGIS Pro service runtime. Refer to the 'Services and the ArcGIS Pro service runtime' documentation for more information: https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/server/latest/publish-services/windows/migrating-services-to-the-arcgis-pro-service-runtime.htm.
Workaround
Add a global ID field to the feature class in ArcMap before publishing. Follow these steps to add the global ID field to the feature class:
- Open the Catalog window in ArcMap or start ArcCatalog.
- In the Catalog tree, connect to the geodatabase that contains the feature class to publish.
- Right-click the feature class and click Manage > Add Global IDs.
