The Join Features tool in both Map Viewer and Map Viewer Classic fails to run when attempting to join more than 50,000 attributes.

Workaround

Complete the join in ArcGIS Pro. This requires ArcGIS Pro installed and licensed to the user's ArcGIS Online account.

1. Open ArcGIS Pro.
2. Access the Catalog pane and search for the feature layer and table under My Contents.
3. Add the feature layer and table to the map.
4. Right-click the table from the Contents pane > Join and Relates > Add Join.
5. Fill in the join parameters in the Add Join geoprocessing tool pane.
6. Run the Add Join tool.
