Additional Information

We cannot reproduce the user's issue. The password indicated for the server administrator should work.

Workaround

Place quotes around the password to pass as a string command looks similar to:importmanageddb dsbackup12122016 --source-loc <a href="file:C:/Temp" target="_blank">C:\Temp</a> --data-dir <a href="file:C:/arcgisdatastore" target="_blank">C:\arcgisdatastore</a> --server-admin siteadmin --server-password "pa$$wo;d" --bound true
