The hint bar in ArcGIS Online does not save the name in the Configure pop-up window but save the setting on the Edit window.

Additional Information

The issue is not reproducible when tested with the ArcGIS Online June 2020 release.

Workaround

Ignore the view of the hint bar, and continue working, the pop-up hint displays as configured.
