Additional Information

GPDataFile is out of date and using File or DEFile should be used instead.

Workaround

  1. In ArcGIS Pro, open the edit window for the script.
  2. Change the output data type from GPDataFile to File.
  3. Save the script.
  4. Run the tool in ArcGIS Pro and publish the result as a new web tool.
  5. Notice when the data type is set to file in the source script, the Geoprocessing Service lists the output data type as GPDataFile.

File is not listed as a data type parameter for geoprocessing tools according to this documentation: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/arcpy/geoprocessing_and_python/defining-parameter-data-types-in-a-python-toolbox.htm
