Workaround
There is a workaround in the custom widget of ArcGIS Web AppBuilder (supposedly valid for ArcGIS Maps SDK for Javascript 4.x).
- Create a feature set of the selected features.
- Execute the Make Feature Layer tool.
- Execute the Layer To KML tool.
