The geocoding results differ between ArcGIS for Desktop 9.3.1 US Streets locator style and the corresponding US Address - Dual Range address locator style in ArcGIS Desktop 10, even with similar settings.

This is no longer an issue with ArcGIS 10.3.1 for Desktop. If the 'Match without house number' option is enabled, 12 matches and two ties are returnedWorkaround
For street names starting with St meaning Saint, spell out the street name to get a match with reference data where the abbreviation is spelled out.For street names with no house number, add a house number, or include a placeholder house number of 0 if the reference data has empty address ranges; the minimum match score may also have to be reduced.Steps to Reproduce
