The FME Joiner Transformer fails with the following error message, "The version ' ' does not exist", while joining an ArcSDE table that has been versioned at any time or with Personal SDE datasets.

Workaround

1. Export the table to a Personal or File Geodatabase2. Reimport the table into the ArcSDE, or use directly from the File Geodatabase
