The Find and Replace dialog box for the attribute table does not work consistently in ArcMap 10.0 if the field is set to Sort Ascending, and a second search is performed when the attribute table is opened for a second time.

We do not have plans to address this issue at this time.

Workaround

Click the Move to End of Table button at the end of the attribute table to perform the search.
