Additional Information

This is not a bug but a user configuration issue. In the Filter widget configuration page, the option 'Display features that match any of the filters' under 'New Filter' is selected. Thus, enabling the second filter does not filter results from the first filter. To filter results based on other filters, 'Display features that match all of the filters' must be selected from the drop-down menu, and the filters works as expected.
