Bug
The Extract by Mask tool does not work as expected when working with selected polygons and displays vertical lines in the area outside the mask (polygon) limit.

Workaround
Option 1: Select the polygon to be used as the mask, export it as a new feature class, and use the exported polygon as the mask.Option 2: If users do not want to export the polygon as a new layer, use Definition Query to just show the desired polygon in the polygon layer, and use the polygon layer as the mask.Steps to Reproduce
