Additional Information

Use the Copy Features tool to convert the event layer to a feature class prior to using it as input to the Export Feature Attribute to ASCII tool.

Workaround

Use the Copy Features (Data Management) or Feature Class to Feature Class (Conversion) tool to convert the event layer to a feature class prior to using it as input to the Export Feature Attribute to ASCII (Spatial Statistics) tool.
