The Explore button covers the "Powered by esri" logo in the Story Map Cascade template when a web map is embedded through "Link to Content" and the Appearance is set to "Button to Enable".

Additional Information

The supported way to add a web map to a Cascade story is by adding it directly from the ArcGIS tab in Cascade builder's media picker.

Workaround

Add a map through the My Content section of the Add Media window.
