The error message, "Synchronize Replica failed. The geometry corresponding to an edge element may not be zero length." is returned when syncing a child replica edited by splitting a line into equal parts.

ArcGIS Desktop (including ArcGIS Engine and ArcObjects) is in mature support and will be retired March 1, 2026. Mature support means the end of functionality-based patches and hotfixes; therefore, this issue will not be addressed. There are no plans for future releases of ArcGIS Desktop, and it is recommended that you migrate to ArcGIS Pro.
