The error message, "ERROR: The subnetwork controller name already exists in the specified tier. [<subnetwork_controller>]" is returned when reconciling a child version with a default version after changing the name of a sub-network in the child branch version.

Additional Information

A change is implemented to address this issue in ArcGIS Enterprise 11.1 and ported to ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9.1 Patch 2 and ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.1 Patch 8.

Workaround

The ArcGIS Server 10.8.1 Utility Network Patch 8 is now live on the support site. The URL is:
