This issue is fixed and not reproducible in ArcGIS Pro 2.6.Workaround
The following workarounds are based on the findings of the user from the related case and GeoNet post:
- No need to reset, simply printing it [the workspace] works fine.
- Use full paths instead of the relative paths.
- Use a ‘with arcpy.EnvManager(workspace = ‘\path\to\workspace):’ indent block rather than simply setting arcpy.env.workspace.
