Additional Information

The purpose of the height above the ellipsoid setting in Drone2Map 2.x is due to Drone2Map supporting a limited number of geoid based vertical coordinate systems (EGM only). The height above ellipsoid setting is provided in order to support additional vertical coordinate systems that are not explicitly listed (for example, the North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD 88) system). Drone2Map 2022.1 and later have full vertical coordinate system support and allow for the image coordinate system to be set to ellipsoidal heights. Ellipsoidal heights may be set for the output products or orthometric heights may be set, and Drone2Map handles the transformation internally.
