The EditExtendedProperties step from the DesktopSteps library returns successful. When an error message is thrown and the error dialog is dismissed, the workflow moves forward to the next step and so does not allow users to fix the error.

Additional Information

Set 'Proceed to the next step after execution' as false for the extended properties step in the workflow to avoid moving to the next step automatically in case of an error.
