The documentation seems to state that each instance must use a different SOM when in fact multiple instances can point to the same SOM and can be shown in several incidents where this is accomplished. Even multiple instances can point to multiple SOMs with a one-to-one relationship. However, a single instance cannot point to multiple SOMs.
