The Display Route Events command creates overlapping route events when the event table shows the end point of event 1 is the same as the beginning point of event 2, if the M and XY units are different but the tolerance is the same value.

Workaround

Consider the units of the Measures and set the M tolerance equal to the XY Tolerance.(0.001 meters = 0.000000621371 miles)
