Additional Information

Duplicate of NIM099174: This issue was addressed for all tools in the Versions toolbox at the 10.4 release.

Workaround

Use the Geodatabase Administration window to delete the version, or use the '.version' drop-down menu from the Delete Version geoprocessing tool.
