This bug has been addressed in Enterprise 10.5. Please upgrade to this version.Workaround
There are two possible workarounds for this issue:1. After applying a definition query to a feature class, use the Export Data function to export the query layer and then publish it normally, or2. Upgrade to Portal for ArcGIS 10.5 or above.Steps to Reproduce
