Bug
The default option for analyzing a layer in ArcCatalog is for the Feature table. This is not an appropriate default for spatial types in Oracle (SDO and ST_GEOMETRY), SQL Server 2008 (Geography and Geometry) or Postgres (ST_GEOMETRY and PostGIS) because none of those layers have a feature table.
