Additional Information

The Index Feature dynamic text tag does not support decimal places because the value does not have to be a number. Tags that are mistyped or not supported result in no change being made to the dynamic text, so they do not invalidate the tags that work. In this case, it is recommended to use the Value dynamic text, which supports Arcade expressions, to limit the decimal places.

Workaround

  1. In ArcGIS Pro, select Layout.
  2. On the Insert tab, in the Text group, click Dynamic Text.
  3. In the Table Attribute group, select Value.
  4. Configure the settings in the pop-up window.
    1. For Map frame, select Map Frame.
    2. For Table, select the attribute table that contains the desired value.
    3. For Query, select the map layer rows.
    4. For Field, select the field in the attribute table that contains the desired values.
    5. For Decimal places, enter the desired number of decimal places.
  5. Click OK.
