The [Data-Specific].emf files generated in PowerPoint from Shape Symbols do not load as Shape Markers for Point symbols.

- Open point symbol formatting by navigating to the layer's Symbology -> Click Symbol Icon -> 'Layers' section of the 'Format Point Symbol' pane.
- With the shape marker selected, click "File..." and select the desired emf.
- Should the behaviour occur, switch the dropdown option from "Shape Marker" to "picture marker", and then back to "shape marker" again.
- Complete step 2 again with the shape marker selected, click "file" and select the desired emf. The emf should load correctly after performing this flip-flop.
- Adjust the symbol to the desired size settings.
