Workaround

Software conflict identified by the distributor:"After you mentioned incompatibilities I did a search in the client's computer for qt*.dll and to my surprise, found qtcore4.dll and qtgui4.dll in the C:\Windows\system32 folder. The application that installed these DLLs is called NokiaFree Calculator and the client didn't need it anymore. I uninstalled it and removed the DLLs from the system32 folder and the Data Interoperability Extension is now working without any issue."Received from Esri Portugal - Diamantino Correia.=====================6/24/11 Margaret Maher - issue is resolved by Safe Software:From: support@safe.com [mailto:support@safe.com] Sent: Thursday, June 23, 2011 11:42 AMTo: Margaret Maher; Esri SupportSubject: RE: C42761 - #935312 ArcGIS 9.3.1 Data Interoperability will not start, returns error "fmeprompter.dl [ ref:00D3ePES.5003EsaWv:ref ]Hi Margaret,Apparently this was a known issue and has been fixed in FME 2010 and also fixed for Data Interop 10.0.
