The credit usage warning is missing when creating a layer from a CSV file in Map Viewer Classic.

Workaround

Use the following steps to resolve the issue:

1. In ArcGIS Online, navigate to the Content tab, and click New item.
2. Click Your device, and click the CSV file containing addresses from the local machine.
3. Click the 'Add layer and create a hosted feature layer or table' option and click Next.
4. Ensure address fields are selected and click Next.
5. On the location settings page, a warning message and an estimate of total credits are displayed.

• select the 'Addresses or place names' option from the dropdown.
  • select the appropriate location fields option depending on the data and click Next.
