The CreateTable method in the FileGDB API does not work well with foreign language names.

Additional Information
The CreateTable method is working correctly, as long as the XML provided by the user has been properly formatted using an XML editor. The XML is required to be in UTF-8. If international characters are used for table or field names, they must be formatted in the XML as UTF-8 characters. One way to do this is to use the Visual Studio XML editor to create the XML. Use a tool such as "Character Map" to select the desired international characters, and copy/paste them into the XML document.Workaround
