The Create Routes tool sets M resolution to 1 unit and tolerance to 2 units by default when the output is in a spatial database engine (SDE).

Either set M properties as desired in the line feature class from which routes will be created, or set M-values in the Create Routes tool > Environments option, to the following: - Output has M-values: Enabled - M resolution: as desired (0.0001, for instance) - M tolerance: as desired (0.001, for instance) This is according to guidelines in Feature Class Basics > Feature Tolerances: http://desktop.arcgis.com/en/desktop/latest/manage-data/geodatabases/feature-class-basics.htmSteps to Reproduce
