Additional Information

This is as designed. The ArcGIS Online default walking time travel mode models how a pedestrian travels on the network, and since the ferry route is open to passengers, the walking time analysis includes the ferry route. If ferry lines is not allowed in an analysis using the Walking Time travel mode, do one of two things below: 1. Edit the organization’s default Walking Time travel mode. Check on the restriction attribute 'Avoid Ferries', and change the drop-down to 'Prohibited', then when the analysis is run with the Walking Time travel mode, the ferry line is not included in the route. 2. Make a new travel mode. Duplicate the Walking Time travel mode, and rename the new travel mode to 'Walking Time Without Ferry', and then set the new travel mode’s 'Avoid Ferries' restriction setting (same steps as option 1). When the analysis is run with this new travel mode, ferry lines are not included.
