The Copy tool returns the error message, "ERROR 000260: Failed to execute (Copy)" when copying a feature class from ArcGIS Enterprise to a file geodatabase in ArcGIS Desktop 10.5.1 and later version with a basic license.

Workaround

- Use the stand-alone Python IDLE or command prompt while working with a basic license. - Use a standard or advanced license.
