The Clip tool returns "ERROR 000446" when the option to use input features for clipping geometry is checked and the output is set as a JPEG.

Workaround

Set output as TIFF or IMG.-----1) set proper NoData value for Jpeg2) use a format that can output to 16-bit pixel type (assuming that you do not want to set the NoData Value.
