The changes of the field display names are not reflected on the pop-up in the Map Viewer when the hosted feature layer is uploaded from ArcGIS Pro and the field display name is changed on the Data tab in item detailed page.

Workaround

  1. Delete the field and add it again with the desired display name.
  2. Change the field's display name via the Fields panel in Map Viewer to have the pop-up update to a new display name.
