Additional Information

In ArcGIS Pro 3.0 Beta 2, cancelling an edit properly returns an error, "Failed to create ". There are instances when it might seem the cancel does not work; however, in those scenarios, the feature is typically already completed and the window to cancel is still in the foreground for an additional moment.

Workaround

Wait for the feature to be created and delete it afterwards.
