This is a known limitation and is dependent on CKEditor methods for parsing custom HTML.Workaround
Adjust the custom HTML so the border-radius property is used in a style attribute of the p element instead of the span element.
Example: <p style="background-color:coral;border-radius:9px;"><span>Test Title</span></p>
