The basemap's drop-down appears blank when accessed via ArcGIS Explorer 1750 through a proxy, while the same basemap drop-down displays correctly in Explorer 900 through the same proxy.

Workaround
1.Open in a web browser and add the following URL to the address bar: <a href="http://www.arcgis.com/home/group.html?owner=esri&title=ArcGIS%20Online%20Basemaps" target="_blank">http://www.arcgis.com/home/group.html?owner=esri&title=ArcGIS%20Online%20Basemaps</a>2. Identify the desired basemap.3.
