Use ArcGIS for Excel.Workaround
- Create a new group in ArcGIS Online.
- Navigate to ArcGIS Online > Organization > Edit settings > the newly created group.
- Click Share basemaps under 'Additionally, share the Esri default basemaps to this group by clicking the button below.'
- Set the group as the basemap gallery group in the Map section of Settings on the Organization tab.
The vector basemaps are available for ArcGIS for Office.
