Additional Information

Inconsistencies are expected when sorting one-to-many joins in an ArcMap attribute table since the table only displays the first matching record. When working with one-to-many and many-to-many relationships, use relates or relationship classes instead of joins. Refer to the following ArcGIS for Desktop Help topic, "About joining and relating tables for best practices on creating relationships between tables."
