This issue is not reproducible in the Map Viewer in the currently supported versions of ArcGIS Enterprise. If this issue still occurs in the Map Viewer in supported versions of ArcGIS Enterprise, kindly submit a new defect.Workaround
Create a point without populating another field, then close the edit mode. Reopen the attributes to populate the field.
